For sale is a great antique early 1900's doll or possibly newborn crib quilt that came from Pennsylvania. It has a large scissor cut pattern in a red, yellow, and black calico, and is hand appliqued and hand quilted. The border and binding are treadle machine sewn, I believe. The quilt is filled with a very thin layer of raw cotton that isn't consistently present, making it a thin summer weight quilt. It measures about 26 1/4" x 25", and is in nice antique condition, some brown spots on the back, and one small area of fabric splitting on the front that I didn't even notice when I bought the quilt. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a nice addition to your doll or quilt collection!
