For sale is a very sweet vintage handmade folk art hooked pillow with the image of a mourning dove sitting amidst a cluster of roses. I found it on a recent trip to the Midwest. The design is completed on black velveteen, and the backing is the same fabric. The dove's eye is glass. I believe that there is a pillow form inside. The pillow measures about 16" x 16" x 4", and is in near mint condition, with no holes, rips, stains, or repairs.
