For sale is a charming vintage, possibly antique handmade folk art chairback cover that I found at a vintage store in Indiana. It is made of blue and white homespun, and has white "chicken scratch" embroidery that depicts a colonial woman at a spinning wheel. The backing is also homespun, but the check design is smaller. The piece measures about 26 1/2" x 17 1/2", and is in vintage condition, with a few small holes on the upper left, and the ties need to be replaced. There is also a small repairable hole next to the damaged tie on one side. Still, It is a wonderful old textile. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a sweet addition to your cottage primitive decor!
