For sale is a sweet vintage folk art Black rag doll that I acquired in Pennsylvania, and that I believe was made there as well. She probably dates to the 1980's-early 90's, although she could possibly be somewhat older, and has hand embroidered facial features, as well as almost mitten style hands. Her dress appears to be an antique fabric, although it is probably reproduction fabric, and her bloomers and bonnet are what appears to be homespun cotton. The doll measures about 22 1/2" tall, 9" wide hand to hand, and 3" front to back, and is in nice vintage condition, with brown stains on the bonnet and bloomers, which could be tea staining, but I don't know. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a wonderful addition to your Black or rag doll collection!
