For sale is a wonderful antique handmade primitive folk art doll that I purchased from a seller in Syracuse, New York. She has a pencil drawn face, and is wearing a blue and white homespun or gingham dress with a homespun bonnet. She is also wearing her original under slip. I'm not sure what she is stuffed with, possibly wool?? The doll measures about 11" tall and 9" wide hand to hand, and is in well loved antique condition, with fading on her face, stains and repairs. In addition, I believe that the dress and bonnet are probably replacements, but they are appropriate for the doll. Both are made of old fabric, and completely and rather primitively hand sewn. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a charming addition to your antique folk art doll collection!
