For sale is a charming antique 19th century blue and white homespun lady's bonnet that came from Pennsylvania, and has been in my collection for awhile now. It seems to be more of a dressy hat, as there are no ties, and is has ruffling around the crown and the brim. It measures about 12" top to bottom, 15 1/2" across the bottom, and 6" in diameter on the inside when fully open. I don't know what hat size that might correspond to. The bonnet is in nice antique condition, with some expected age related browning of the fabric, which might soak out, but I'll leave that to the discretion of the new owner. There are no holes, rips, or repairs, and in fact, I don't think the bonnet was ever worn. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a great addition to your collection of antique ladies' accessories, and wonderful decor in your primitive home!
