Albion Valley Folk Art and Antiques
is now SOLDFor sale is a wonderful antique, probably late 19th century, folk art Lancaster, Pennsylvania pin cushion that came from the collection of Eugene and Vera Charles. It is made of a black satiny fabric on one side, and a sort of grey shiny fabric on the other. It has 8 points with yarn at each of the tips, and on each side there is simple embroidery and a red and green fabric center, almost like a flower. I believe that the pin cushion is stuffed with either raw cotton, or possibly raw wool. It measures about 4" in diameter and 1/2" thick, and is in very nice antique condition. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a unique addition to your collection of vintage/antique sewing items.
