For sale is the third of 3 rare mid-19th century Pennsylvania folk art needle pocket that came from the collection of Linda and Dennis Moyer. It is primarily made of a a variety of several different silk fabrics. and the backing is also silk. It is bound with a cotton fabric, and this one has a pin cushion at the bottom. The needle pocket measures about 13" long and 2 3/4" wide at the bottom. This piece is in the roughest shape of the 3 needle pockets that I have listed, showing overall wear and surface dirt. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a nice addition to your collection of 19th century sewing items!
