For sale is the second of 3 rare mid-19th century Pennsylvania folk art needle pockets that came from the collection of Linda and Dennis Moyer. It is primarily made of a a variety of colored silk fabrics, and has a multi-layer pin keep at one end. The backing is also silk, and the pocket is trimmed in pink grosgrain ribbon. 111. The needle pocket measures about 14" long not including the hanger and 3 3/4" wide at the bottom. It is in nice antique condition, with few signs of use, although the felt at the bottom has curled over the years from being rolled up. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a fabulous addition to your collection of 19th century sewing items!
