For sale is a very nice antique 19th century folk art butter print/stamp with a hand carved image of an eagle with a star behind its head, and an olive branch, I believe under its wing. There is also carved hatching around the perimeter. The print is fairly large, measuring about 4 1/2" in diameter, and 3" front to back. It is in nice antique condition, with an aged patina, and a stable age crack on one side, that at least in my opinion, doesn't detract from the design at all. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a wonderful addition to your butter print or eagle collection!
