For sale is a wonderful antique 1860's primitive handmade folk art knife box or cutlery tray that I found at an antique mall in Boise, Idaho, but the seller stated that it came from Pennsylvania. It is made of walnut with a pine bottom, and has square nail construction. The handle is nicely carved, with an almost elongated heart design in the middle. The piece measures about 12" long, 5 1/2" tall in the middle of the handle, and 8" wide. It is in very nice antique condition, with an aged patina, and nice oxidation around the nails. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What an awesome addition to your primitive farm kitchen decor, great for storage too!
