For sale is a rare 19th century zinc lined copper mold that is marked "Middle Temple", which may be a Mormon reference, although I'm not sure. It is marked "Smith & Matthews, 6 High St, Bloomsbury W.C." It also has the number "11" stamped to the right of the word "Temple". The mold is made in a circle of concentric hexagons in 3 layers with half-spheres on top and a circular tube down the middle. It measures about 3 1/2" tall and 4 1/4" in diameter on the bottom. The mold is in nice antique condition, with an aged patina as would be expected on a 19th century piece. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What an awesome addition to your collection of antique copper items!
