For sale is a terrific vintage hand carved and painted folk art peacock that I acquired from a seller in New York state. It is naively carved and painted, sort of in the style of Wilhelm Schimmel, although I don't think that Schimmel ever carved a peacock. There is faint signature on the bottom that I think says "Simpson", although I can't make out the whole thing. The peacock measures about 10" tall, 7" long, and 3 1/2" wide, and is in very nice vintage condition, with no noticeable issues. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a great addition to your peacock collection!
