For sale is a charming antique Victorian folk art oil painting of a young blond curly haired boy sitting on a pier fishing. It dates to the late 19th century, and may have been copied from a magazine or other painting, as I recently saw a similar painting advertised in Maine Antique Digest. The painting is housed in its original gold gilt frame, and measures about 14 1/2" x 10" including the frame, with a sight measurement of 12 1/4" x 7 3/4". The painting is in very nice antique condition, and the frame shows expected age-related wear.
