For sale is a folk art carved and painted shorebird that I found on a recent trip back east. I don't know its age or what type of shorebird it is. It has a black wings, black and white striped tail, gray head and back, and orange chest. It has a metal rod beak, and also sits on a single metal rod leg, which is placed on a thick tree branch slice. It measures about 6 1/4" tall including the base, 5 1/2" long, 2" wide, and the base is about 2 1/4" in diameter. The piece is in very nice condition. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a nice addition to your cottage or nautical decor!
