*Vintage: Circa 1880
*Size: Length Measures 1 1/4" wide, from top of loop to bottom measures 1 15/16"
*Comments: This is a wonderful early locket with some unusual details. It was impossible to get a good picture to show the color of the locket because the gold color is reflecting, it is two toned. The panels are white metal fit into the gold filled bezels with top loop and button is gold as well. There is a small round button that you have to push on top with your fingernail to open the locket. Inside is turquoise colored velvet with yellow glue showing through from age, I believe these may be original to the piece. One side has no glass or frame. The other has thick glass with beveled edge, I notice two tiny screws? on the frame edge and the word "Patent".
