Magnificent landscape painting, done on watercolor paper by an extremely talented hand. The more you look into this painting the more you see.
I couldn't find anything on Wesley Horton, but then I didn't know exactly where to look on the internet. The painting is done around the early 20th century, and it reminds me of the moors described in Wuthering Heights. The shade of green and gold and purples seems to suggest a sunset. But then, sunrise can look similar in a painting. I love the shallow depths where the ducks have landed. It's signed, lower left hand corner, and has been archivally framed with UV protection glass. The other painting, by Arthur Willett--who I did find on the internet--came with Mr. Horton's painting, and both were archivally framed by the same company.
Dimensions are: Frame is 16" x 20". The painting is 10" x 13". No damage. Just pristine and ready for your study or living room. Thank you for stopping by. Please ask any questions.
If I love it, I hope you will too.
