In unplayed with condition, here is a San Francisco friction toy trolley. A slight crease on one of the ends and one of the sides, everything else is lovely. Some black paint scrapes from the bottom, where someone played with the toy. Luckily, this toy has its box, too--battered for sure, but intact.
The colors are wonderful, and I enjoyed studying all the people on the trolley. The trolley man seems to be taking tickets, it looks like. Someone reading a book with 'herb' in it, various little things to notice. This toy was made in the 1960s and possibly was a souvenir from San Francisco. The friction part works just fine. There is a place on top to actually write an address so you could just mail the trolley out in the box, as is--no Priority box or anything. Yep. Those were the days.
A nice little trolley with its original box. Thank you for checking in.
