Here's an Easter basket any button collector, thimble collector, sewing paraphernalia collector will love to receive. They will be able to explore a plethora of buttons; most vintage and some, like the ones on the cards with the lovely illustrations of women, are very vintage. Some of the buttons are china or bone or shell. Some leather, some metal, some plastic--all from the 1950s, 60s, 70s... There are several cards of buttons from the 1970s-80s which would be useful to use today.
I love the steel thimbles from the 1950s or 60s. One is from Oldsmobile, one is from Coca Cola and the other is from a heating company. The Prudential Insurance item is a needle case. There is a measuring tape with hand drawn measurements which I find interesting. Although it looks like bone, I don't think it is. But it's still lovely. Look at the photos. There's no way, really, I can photograph everything that is in this grouping but you have a good idea. The woven basket comes with the button collection. It's from the 1930s and it has no lid--if it ever had one--but it's in lovely condition.
All you have to do is add the Peeps and chocolate bunny. Thank you for checking in at my shop. Ask any questions. I'm happy to answer.
