I didn't have the proper French punctuation on my keyboard for the Museum's name but you get the idea. Theriault's books and auction catalogs are an endless source of information and eye candy. When such catalogs come up for sale, and it's not all that often compared to other publications, they're snatched up. I have my Theriault books I will not part with. But since I'm into antique cloth, and not bride dolls, this auction catalog must go to someone who appreciates antique bride dolls and wedding globes.
The piece of paper that shows prices realized--so often missing--is still with the book. One doll is more lovely than the next, and the bridal gowns are amazing. Imagine the skills it took to sew an elaborate bridal gown in miniature. Wedding crowns and veils are also featured. There are a few grooms in the book as well. What's a wedding without a groom? The photographs are beautiful, and the book is in wonderful condition with some bending and creasing on the dust cover. Inside, there are 108 pages and shows no damage. Gently used, as if thumbed through. The spine is good and sturdy.
