A pair of early 19th century ironstone china imari patterned platters by Hicks, Meigh and Johnson. They are beautifully decorated with stylized painted flowers and a matching border. Circa 1822. They measure 17.25" long by 13.75" wide, (one is a fraction smaller than the other). They show the Hicks, Meigh and Johnson coat of arms mark on the rear with the word "stone china" beneath.
