An early 19th century ironstone china imari patterned large platter by Hicks, Meigh and Johnson. It is beautifully decorated with stylized painted flowers and a matching border. Circa 1822. It measures 19.25" long by 15" wide. It shows the Hicks, Meigh and Johnson coat of arms mark on the rear with the word "stone china" beneath. There is general wear commensurate with age and usage. No other damage noted.
