A purple Spode Imperial circular cake plate, gilt detail, in the frog Frog Pattern, circa 1830. The plate measures 12.25" in diameter. The piece shows a pattern number 3243 and an impressed makers mark "SPODE NEWSTONE". The piece has a metal loop attached to the rear foot rim to enable its use as a wall hanging. The piece is in good condition, no damage noted.
