A purple Spode Imperial large platter, gilt detail, in the frog Frog Pattern, circa 1830. The platter measures 18.5" by 14." The piece shows a pattern number 3243 and an impressed makers mark "SPODE NEWSTONE". The platter has a wire hanging strap attached which can easily be removed. The platter is in good condition, some fine surface scratches due to age and usage but no other damage noted.
