A large soup tureen, base and cover by Minton and Hollins in their "Japanese" pattern ", circa 1830 - 1840. It is decorated with leaves and flowers within a border of flowers . It measures 12" high and 11" across the handles. The base measures 15" diameter. It shows on the rear of the pieces a makers mark with the makers initials below a cartouche showing the pattern name It is in really nice condition except for some discoloration to the center of the base. (I feel this is not a problem since the tureen sits there). No other damage noted.
