Gold

since 2014
This is a gorgeous Art Deco ring which dates to the 1920s and features intricate filigree work by the masters, the Belais brothers!

Measuring size 10, this ring is crafted of pure 18 kt white gold and has an all-over pierced and hand-crafted design. The detail is absolutely amazing!

The face of the ring is set with three round mine cut diamonds for a total of .25 carat diamonds.

Each diamond is placed in an incredible invisible-looking setting with four prongs which are flush to the top of the diamond. The face of the ring is approx. 7/8" tall x 5/8" wide.

The ring's face is set up 1/4" above the finger- on a bridge of white gold filigree which is pierced in a stylized bridge design.

The entire ring, though it looks extremely delicate, is very strong and shows no damage even though it is approaching its 100th birthday!

Marks: 18K and the maker's mark, which is partially worn off.

Weight: Carat weight for the Diamond is .25 Carat! The ring is 18k white gold and weighs 5 grams!

Remarks: Condition is excellent- in fact, incredibly so! The diamonds sparkle, no scratches or damages seen!

Size: 10

This ring comes in its original small black leather box with mother of pearl button closure. The inside is cream-colored velvet and silk. The box is in good condition for its age but shows some wear.

Notes on the Belais Brothers:
"The best substitutes are but poor imitations," reads an add placed by the Belais brothers outside a Broadway theater in 1920! The sounds arrogant but the brothers had a right to feel proud of their jewelry. They are recognized as makers of the finest white gold filigree in the early 20th century. They are also famous for having patented alloys for white gold in 1917 when it was used, in jewelry making, as a substitute for platinum.
