Sweet Cuba counter top store display tin bin from The Continental Tobacco Co., successor to Daniel Scotten & Co., Detroit, Mich and manufactured by Spaulding & Merrick, Chicago, ILL. This old display bin has vintage wear with darkening from age, stains, scratches, denting and bends in the lid from usage (see photos) but the hinges on the lid are intact and the lid will still close. The litho is in good vintage condition with sharp non-faded colors and totally beautiful graphics and presentation. The old wooden knob on the lid appears to have been either replaced or re-painted green. It was originally black. All in all this is an outstanding Americana Tobacciana collectible that has a great vintage look and displays beautifully. Although this tin shows its age and lots of usage it remains one of the nicest examples of this tin we have seen.

Circa: early 1900's, dimensions 10" deep x 8" wide x 7 3/4" high.
