"Kreso Dip" half gallon empty litho tin from Parke-Davis & Company, Detroit Michigan. This product was for the treatment of all kinds of farm animal ailments from scabs, worms, and bruises and also was used to kill and repel flies, lice, mosquitos, mites and fleas. This early tin container shows vintage wear and aging with spots, scratches and stains. There is also surface oxidation but the can remains solid. On the front of the can it has a terrific litho graphic of farm animals. The embossed lid is patented Nov. 3, 1914 and the tin itself was hand soldered. All and all this is a great early farm/veterinary advertising collectible with a wonderful old patina giving it great display potential.
