Hinged 'bunny in car' chocolate mold from the Heris Company of Nuremberg, Germany This mold has the marking "4157" which catalogs it as a Heris mold. There are three hinged parts to this mold and it has 3 permanent hinged snap clips , two clips for the two halves of the mold and a third clip at the bottom for the bottom metal plate. The clips are solid and all 3 snap into place. The hinges are also in solid condition. It is exceptionally sturdy and weighs in at close to 1 lb. The mold shows vintage wear and aging with darkened areas and a few small areas of light surface oxidation but the mold has great old patina and remains in beautiful displayable condition. The detail is outstanding on this mold . It is without question one of the most impressive chocolate molds we have ever offered for sale.
