Large 10" tall bunny with basket on his back chocolate mold manufactured by (ACMC)  The American Chocolate Mould Company, New York.   This mold is marked on three lines  "AMERICAN CHOCOLATE.....MOULD CO......NEW YORK.  It is also marked with the mold number "8196".   In 1947 The American Chocolate Mould Company acquired Eppelsheimer & Company.  The mold number "8196" is actually Eppelsheimer's mold number for this exact bunny mold so this mold is either an old Eppelsheimer mold that was stamped by ACMC after acquiring the company or a more likely answer is that ACMC continued the use of Eppelsheimer style numbers after the acquisition.
This larger mold is in wonderful vintage condition.  It shows wear with cllip marks, scratches and darker areas but has an especially nice aged patina.  Both halves fit together perfectly and there is no damage to the mold. The mold comes with three very nice old bar clips. Because of its wonderful vintage look and larger size this mold makes quite a dramatic statement when on display.
Circa: late 1940's, 1950's, dimensions 10" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/8" deep. The mold weighs very close to 1 lb.
