Cast iron Lincoln "Touring Car" from The A.C. Williams Company, Ravenna, Ohio. A.C. Williams made this difficult to find toy in this 7 1/2" version and also a larger 9 1/4" size. This car retains approximately 85% of its original red paint and its patina is exceptional. The beautiful original nickel platted spoked wheels have isolated areas of tarnishing but retain much of their original nickel platting. The bolt holding the spare wheel on the back is likely a replacement but otherwise everything else including the 5 spoked wheels on this toy are original. There are no breaks, repairs, oxidation, missing parts or repainting on this toy. This car did not come with a driver. As can be seen in the photos this car makes a wonderful presentation. Its lines and styling are classic and so well executed on this toy that many collectors consider this "Touring Car" to be the nicest toy ever made by A.C. William.
Circa: 1920's, 7 1/2" long, wt.1 1/2 lbs.
