This is a HUGE AMETHYST AND DIAMOND RING.The setting is 14 kt gold tested and marked.IT is from the 50's.One of my own but do not wear it anymore.IT weighs 19.7 grams.The size is 11 1/2.Has a very wide shank of almost 1/4 inch. The amethyst stone is a nice dark color and 3/4 by 1 inch.Maybe around 15-20 cts.There are 2 rows of diamond around the stones and diamond flowers on each side.The diamonds are white sparkly and very clear.Maybe 1 1/2 to 2 cts total.No scratches on amethyst.Looks to be around 46 stones in 2 bands and flowers have another 14 in them.Sorry the pictures do not do it justice.IT is huge and impressive. It was a custom made ring from a Palm Beach estate.
