The popular Rose Pansy by Crown Staffordshire Bone China is so pretty in this Floral Teacup and Saucer Set. Sprigs of flowers including deep pink roses, purple and yellow pansies, and blue forget-me-knots are scattered over the outside of the cups and around the rims of the snow-white bone china saucers. A narrow band of gold edges the rims of the cups and the saucers, and gold outlines both sides of the cup handles and also rings the foot of each teacup.
Each teacup is 3-1/4 inches in diameter and just under 2-1/2 inches tall. The foot of the cup is 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The matching saucer is 5-1/2 inches in diameter and almost an inch deep.
The Crown Staffordshire back stamp, in green, reads "Fine Bone China/Crown" arched above a crown over a cartouche with "Staffordshire/England" below. "Est. 1801" flanks the crown. This mark was used from the 1930s to 1985. There are also artist's marks in gray and gold here and there.
Each saucer has a very tiny, nearly imperceptible nick or indent along the edge that isn’t noticeable unless you are looking for it. Even then, it is hard to spot. One cup has two small chips on the underside of the foot. These do not impact stability. Other than normal minor surface scratches, there are no other condition issues.
Two sets are available. Please be sure to indicate the number you'd like on your order. Thank you!
