The beloved Adam Depression Glass pattern was made by Jeannette for just a few short years and is somewhat more difficult to find in green than in pink, making this Divided Relish dish a great find! The Adam pattern features a feathery motif of ferns and leaves. The Art Deco design forms a star shape in the bottom of the oval shaped dish and makes Adam easily distinguishable from other Depression Glass patterns. The three-quarter inch wide, flat, floral rim has scalloped corners and makes the complete dish a rectangular shape.
Made by Jeannette Glass between 1932 and 1934, this two-part divided relish dish measures 8-inches by 5-3/4 inches and 1-3/8 inches deep. There is no mark.
The inner rims of the Adam pieces tend to have damage due to stacking. There is one tiny pinpoint nick, commonly known as a "fleabite" on the inner rim, but I find no other flaws.
