Here is a fine quality Imperial Glass Small Crystal Cruet in the striking Cape Cod pattern. The Cape Cod pattern is a band of diamond shapes with a "thumbprint" indent in the center of each diamond. Circular indents are above and below each intersection. Another band of tiny stippled diamonds circles the piece above the wider band. There is a rayed pattern in the bottom, and the stopper is a ball shape with raised diamond hubs.
This lovely cruet measures just 4 inches tall, 5-1/2 inches with the stopper. It is 3 inches in diameter at the widest part, and the circular base is two inches in diameter.
This unmarked, long-lived pattern was made by Imperial from 1932 to 1984.
There is a straw mark that encircles the top of the handle, but does not go through the handle. This would have occurred in the manufacturing process. There are also a few bubbles in the glass, especially near the bottom. There is no damage to either the cruet or the stopper.
