This hand painted T&V France floral plate features detailed red and white five petaled blossoms clustered on a spreading branch that covers nearly half of the plate. Soft green leaves and delicate golden spiderwebs add lifelike detail and a sky-blue background finishes this exquisite piece of art. A thin gold band rings the outer rim.
Made by Tressemann and Vogt, Limoges, France between 1883 and 1918, this beautiful old porcelain plate measures 8-3/8 inches in diameter.
It is marked in green underglaze with T&V in a rectangular frame followed by the word "France."
There is some minor wear on the design, especially on the gold, but no other damage.
