This "Green Heritage" Coffee pot from Lefton features pink roses with green and sepia foliage on a pale green background. The ornate handle, graceful long spout, and the finial on the top are all lavishly gilded, and there is matching gold trim around the zigzag top edge of the pot. There is also an embossed design around the base of the pot and the base of the spout.
This green porcelain coffee pot measures 6-1/2 inches tall to the rim, 9 inches with the lid including the finial. It is 3-3/4 inches in diameter at the top gently widening to almost 5 inches at its widest point near the bottom.
The mark is the red Lefton mark used from 1949 to 1955, a crown colored in pale blue and encircled with "Lefton China,Hand Painted, Reg.U.S. Pat. Off." The item number NE 3065 is stamped in black below the Lefton mark.
The only sign of age is minimal wear on the gold trim. (The dark area on the base of the spout in the picture is reflection on the high gloss gold.)
