You'll love this pair of Duncan & Miller Glass Number 115 Canterbury Crystal Three-Light Candleholders! Each gorgeous three-light candlestick has sharply defined curving ribs in the center which give way to long, elegant arms at the top and bottom of the ribs. The smooth glass arms come together to form a loop and are irresistible to touch. The lower side arm curls up at the end to hold the candle cup. Produced to complement Duncan's Canterbury pattern, a circular disc in Canterbury’s well-known six-petaled flower shape serves to attach the three-armed candelabra to the circular foot. The curves and angles make the light dance and sparkle off of the glass. This symmetrical shape would be especially lovely for a wedding.
Each candle holder measures 6-inches tall and stands on a 4-3/4 inch diameter base. The arms measure about 10-3/4 inches across.
These candlesticks were made by Duncan and Miller from 1937 to the 1950s. There is no mark.
There is an elongated 1/4-inch popped bubble on the outside of one of the side candle cups, but other than the expected flaws characteristic of Depression Era Glass, such as bubbles or other irregularities, there is no damage.
