Imagine this Miss America Pink Depression Glass Cake Plate for the spectacular presentation of your beautiful birthday cake! The pretty Diamond Pattern of Miss America by Hocking glass is easily recognizable. One of the most popular Depression Glass patterns, its rows of hobnail diamonds around the rim and rays in the center of the plate give it plenty of angles for the light to reflect and bounce.
This glorious plate measures 12-inches in diameter and 1-inch high. The flat cake plate is raised above the table on three ribbed feet, each 1-1/2 inches wide and 3/4-inches high.
Production of this unmarked pattern, from 1935 to 1938, spanned the 1937 merger that changed Hocking to Anchor Hocking Glass.
Offered as found, one point has been chipped off of the edge, as shown in the photo against a black background. There are minor surface scratches, but not as many as you might expect on a cake plate. There are no other condition issues.
