This Sierra "Pinwheel" depression glass pink two-handled serving tray was made by the Jeannette Glass Company. Sierra is known for its distinctive sawtooth edge on ribbed panels that end in the pinwheel design that resembles a circular saw blade from the top. This platter has two open handles opposite each other.
This glass serving tray measures 10-1/4 inches in diameter, 11-3/4 inches across the handles.
This pattern was made by Jeannette Glass from 1931 to 1933. There is no mark.
There are a few manufacturing bubbles in the glass and a tiny popped bubble in the center. There are numerous surface scratches from use, and a tiny nick, too small to photograph, on the edge seam inside one handle.
