Offered here is a beautiful Miss America Depression Glass Cereal Bowl in lovely pink. The pretty Diamond Pattern of Miss America is unmistakable. One of the most popular Depression Glass patterns, its rows of hobnail diamonds and rays in the bottom of the bowl give it plenty of angles for the light to reflect and bounce.
Manufacturers of depression era glass often used the same mold for multiple purposes. In keeping with that practice, Hocking issued the cereal bowl as the same piece as the butter bottom.
The bowl measures 6-1/4 inches in diameter and about 1-3/8 inches deep.
Miss America was made by Hocking Glass only from 1935 to 1938. There is no mark.
Other than a smattering of tiny factory bubbles in the bottom, there are no condition issues.
