These shallow Pink Depression Glass tab handle bowls in the Old Café pattern by Hocking Glass are the perfect presentation piece for your sweet treats! Old Cafe is a pretty alternating ribbed pattern of one wide rib and two narrow ribs. The scalloped rim is rounded at the end of each panel. There are two three-lobed tab handles, and the low and shallow bowl sits on a 3-inch diameter, 1/2 inch foot that follows the same ribbed pattern. The foot shines like jewels due to the ribs being so close together to frame the rayed pattern in the bottom of the bowl.
This sparkling glass bowl measures 7-7/8 inches in diameter, 8-1/2 across the tab handles, and 1-1/2 inches tall.
This unmarked pattern was made by Hocking Glass between 1936 and 1940. There are normal minor surface scratches and no other damage.
