This romantic TV Limoges floral lemon dish by Tressemann and Vogt is decorated with a hand painted open rose design in muted pinks and lavenders encircling the dish. Raised white enamel accents adorn some of the flower petals and add a dash of realism. The soft colors and the realistic flowers add romance to this piece. The single ring handle and the outer rim are lavishly trimmed with elegant gold scrolls and drapes.
Made by Tressemann and Vogt, Limoges, France between 1907 and 1919, this delicate porcelain nappy measures 6 inches in diameter with a 1 inch ring handle attached.
The backstamp features the red T.V. Limoges bell. There is also a green mark with T&V inside a rectangle with the words "Limoges France Depose."
This sweet piece has a shallow 1/8 inch chip near the handle that has been repainted with gold at some time in its past, and there is a pinhead sized nick opposite the handle. Some of the gold is worn in spots. The condition of this still lovely piece is reflected in the price.
