Blue Willow is one of the most beloved patterns of all time. This Two Handled Bowl with Gold Trim is a detailed transfer of the Willow design in the traditional blue, with a geometric pattern in the rim, and gold trim on the unusual bow-shaped handles. Gold on the edge and a gold ring delineates the rim of bowl. Made by Tuscan China, England, sometime between 1907 when this backstamp was first used, and 1970 when the company closed, this bowl is in very good condition. There is an old stain on the back, as though from a price tag, a small factory flaw in the seam of the transfer, and some very minor wear on the gold.
This china transfer ware bowl measures 9 inches in diameter, 9-1/2 inches with the bow handles, and 1-1/4 inches deep. It bears the Tuscan backstamp of blue underglaze wings, with the words "Tuscan China, England." We welcome you to enjoy browsing through MaggieBelle's Memories! Thank you!
