Syracuse Minuet is an elegant pattern of small off-white raised leaves on trailing tendrils of black vines around the wide blue-grey rim on this salad plate. The outside and inside of the rim are ringed with platinum. Syracuse was a trusted name in dinnerware for over a hundred years, and their fine china was known as one of the best quality names in American made dinnerware.
The Minuet pattern from the 1960's was discontinued around 1970.
On a beautiful white background, this fine china salad plate measures 8-inches in diameter.
The backstamp, in black, reads "Syracuse China made in America." "China" is in script; surrounded by a banner that reads "Minuet" and a cartouche, both in gold.
This plate shows only some normal surface scratches and minor wear on the platinum rim.
