Designed by the renowned and fascinating Eva Zeisel and made by Hall China between 1952 and 1957, the Bouquet pattern consists of multicolored flowers and leaves in blues, yellows, mauves, and green on a white background. This oblong bread and butter plate measures 6 3/8 inches by 5 1/2 inches and has browned slightly around the edges with age. The blue backstamp reads "Hallcraft Shape By Eva Zeisel, Made in U.S.A. by Hall China Co." The HC monogram logo in gray accompanies the mark. Each matching cup measures 4 inches in diameter and about 2 1/4 inches deep. Each is stamped in gold "Bouquet 1881." One cup has three small edge nicks, commonly called "fleabites." One of these is no bigger than a pinpoint, the other two are larger, about 2 mm across. The other cup has two pinpoint places where the glaze has flecked off the design. (Please see photos. None of these tiny flaws detracts from the beauty of these cups.) This makes a fun three piece set for coffee and biscotti! Thank you for your interest, and please visit MaggieBelle's Memories often!
