Killarney Green by Tiffin is instantly recognizable and offered here in a set of four Blown Glass Wine Clarets. Killarney Green is a beautiful, deep, pine green that immediately identifies these lovely goblets as made by Tiffin of US Glass. Identified as Stem #17394, the small green bowl is perched on a clear stem with a rippled center knob for holding. This line was blown stemware, and shown in 1949 magazine advertisements as “wonderful crystal for weddings, Christmas, and other special occasions.”
Each small wine glass measures just 4-inches tall and 2-1/4 inches in diameter at the rim. The foot is also 2-1/4 inches in diameter.
Tiffin's Killarney Stem #17394 was made circa 1948 to 1955. There is no mark.
Most have a circular mark on the bottom caused by the process of blowing glass. There is an occasional small bubble in the glass. This manufacturing flaw is typical of vintage glassware. There are no chips or cracks.
