Offered here is a Royal Albert Bone China Dessert plate in the beloved Petit Point pattern. The Petit Point pattern is made to resemble needlepoint with a background grid of pale gray. A medallion in the center features pink roses accented with soft blue and bright yellow flowers backed by greenery. The floral motif is repeated at each of the four corners with a smaller matching design between. The central motif and the inner and outer rims are decorated with a red, yellow, and blue zigzag motif. The outer rim is edged in gold.
This small plate measures 6-5/8 inches square, 7-3/8 inches across the diagonal.
Petit Point was made by Royal Albert China from 1932 to 1997.
The Royal Albert Crown mark in deep pink reads "Royal Albert/Bone China/England/Reg.No.778676." "Petit Point China" is written in blue script above the registration number. There is an additional blue mark beneath the back stamp.
There are a few places along the rim where the design appears to have pulled away from the edge. The largest of these is a 1/2-inch long and 1/4-inch wide. The gold edge shows minor wear.
