This stunning Oscar de la Renta Antoinette reticulated bowl was made in West Germany. Swags of blue forget-me-nots are tied up with pink ribbons and bows in the center bottom of the bowl with a small butterfly and a dragonfly centered in the design. The pierced rim is dotted with ladybugs, ribbons, and floral sprays in reds, yellows, and pinks. All of the flowers are accented with the appropriate greenery. With a close look, you can see that each beetle is sitting on an embossed flower and that the rim is also subtly embossed in other places as well. The scalloped edge is trimmed in gold.
This gorgeous bowl measures 10-5/8 inches long by 7-1/2 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches deep.
Made between 1950 and 1990, the back stamp reads "Oscar de la Renta" in gold script followed by "Fine China - UH 110 Antoinette West Germany."
There are no condition issues.
