Here is a delightful Mid Century glass serving tray in the gold Regalia pattern by the renowned Georges Briard. The wooden handled tray has a central design of a crown encircled by a wreath of feathers and plumes. The feathers and plumes also form the border around the tray, and the wooden handles are tipped with brass ends to match. The finishing touch is in the back of the glass which has a sparkly textured frost.
This bent glass tray measures 12-1/2 inches by 10-1/4 inches, and the sides curve up about an inch.
It is signed in script "Georges Briard," and was made during the 1950s to 1960s.
The wooden handles are well worn and there are surface scratches in the central design, but there is no damage to the glass.
